19 Home Remedies To Treat Heart Burn (Acidity) - Causes - Instant Relief

 


Acidity refers to a set of symptoms caused by an equity. Which can also be term to a set of symptoms caused by an imbalance between the acid secreting system of the stomach and proximal intestine and the protective mechanisms that ensures their safety. More names for acidity are Hyperacidity, or Acid Dyspepsia. Acid reflux is one of the most normal diseases that causes acidity in the upper body.

Acidity can be resulted from inappropriate dietary stress , it is a problem which handle with negligence can result in peptic ulcer and other complications.   • Citrus (citric fruits like oranges, lemon, grapefruit, etc) 

           
  • Tomatoes  

  • Peppermint  

  • Fried and Fatty foods (Burgers, Fries, Pizza, Potato and other fried chips, Chinese takeout, Fried chicken/Fish, Doughnut etc.)  

         
  • Overeating    

  • Some medications (Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Osteoporosis medications, Iron supplements, High blood pressure medications, Anti-anxiety drugs, Tricyclic antidepressants, Antibiotics)  

          
  • Stress  

  • Obesity  


Heartburn can be dangerous to the esophagus as the acidic content from the stomach contains acid and pepsin which pushes back to the esophagus. Since the sphincter is weaker it cannot protect the contents from the stomach from gushing back to esophagus.


Not eating on time , fried and spicy food, anxiety, insomnia, pregnancy, smoking and putting on of tight -fitted clothes can also give acidity. Since acidity is a problem that is rampant in our society, going for medication every time seems not to be a very good idea because there are some home remedy that can be use to prevent and treat acidity


Home Remedies for Acidity (Instant Relief)


1. One to three teaspoon Juice of Chebulic Myrobalan taken daily is highly helpful in the treatment of acidity. 


2. Make a mixture of Coriander Leaf Juice, Cumin Seed [1tablespoon each] then add this mixture in a glass of Water, add a pinch of Salt to it and shake well, your home remedy reliever is prepared. This solution is highly effective and gives instant relief.  


3. Eat a cup of Vanilla Ice- Cream or drink a glass of Cold Milk to get rid of acidity. This is an easy home remedy for acidity.  


4. Mix Soy and Garlic oil (one tablespoon each.). Rub Abdomen gently with this oil. It will give you fast relief.  


5. Eating Water melon, Banana and Cucumber also reduces the acidity.  


6. A piece of Jaggery (Gur) after lunch and dinner prevents acidity.  


7. Mix Lemon juice (1 tablespoon) Curry Leaf juice(1 tablespoon) and a pinch of Sugar, this gives instant relief from heartburn.  


8. Taking of Onion Juice is an excellent home remedy for acidity. 


9. Take Tender Coconut water 3-5 times daily.  


10. Taking of Carrot Juice is also useful in setting relief from acidity.  


11. Chewing of few Holy Basil (Tulsi) leaves helps to get relief.  


12. Acidity is as a result of over eating or taking too much of junk food. It is therefore advisable to engage in some physical activities like Walking because you will feel light which will result to proper indigestion.  


13. By eating sprinkle Sugar and Pepper on the piece of Pineapple, you will get relief from acidity.  


14. A sherbet (juice) made with Kokum (Garcinia Indica) and Jeera (cumin) reduces acidity.  


15. Eat Almonds to give relief to symptoms of acidity.  


16. Aniseed are effective cure for indigestion, have 3-4 seeds whenever you feel acidity.  


17. Mix one tablespoon of Carom (ajwain) and small amount of Rock salt and eat this mixture whenever you feel indigestion. 


18. You can drink herbal tea containing mint or other herbs like blackberry.  


19. Mix the juice of a little piece of ginger with equal amount of honey, lick it twice in the morning and evening. You will positively get relief from acidity.
